Friday Video Fun

It’s Friday! If you’re looking to kill a little time at work, enjoy these videos!

Funny Animals

Cats! They’re incorrigible!

Dog’s be so silly!

Raccoons are amazing animals. Yes, they can be pests but overall they are extremely adaptable survivors who are also adorable. Not everyone feels this way. Here, you will find one of the funniest things ever written about raccoons.

Kick-Ass Music

Mannequin Pussy is another band that I’ve recently been listening to A LOT. I love this song in particular and I think you might too.

The Bombpops are great too. Most of their videos are low-budget action spoofs that I always find amusing.

Rock not your thing? Enjoy this dope track from Run the Jewels:

Interesting Interviews

This interview from 1974 is entertaining, enlightening, and ahead of its time. Did you know Dick Van Dyke was an alcoholic? I didn’t. Here, he talks so openly about his struggles. Considering this took place half a century ago, it’s clear that substance abuse has been a problem for a long time.

John Lennon was murdered before I was born, so for my entire life I’ve only ever known him as an ex-person. I love watching old interviews with him because he’s so honest and funny. He’s a bit of a twat too at times. This is especially true when he talks about Paul McCartney. From 1975:

Have you seen the show, Rutherford Falls? It’s on Peacock so probably not. But it’s really, really good. It’s so new and unique. I’ve never seen a show like it before. That probably (definitely) has to do with the fact that it was created by an indigenous woman and half the writing staff featured Native people. Here’s a great interview with some of the cast and creators. It’s a little long but very interesting.

Happy Friday!
