Unreal

Thank god the weather in Minnesota over the next few days is going to be miserable. Otherwise, I fear the city might burn once more. And it should. Make no mistake, “no justice, no peace” means what it means. Even with the nasty weather I still expect a lot of outrage. Why?

Even though sentencing guidelines called for 6-8 years, Ms. Potter won’t even serve two. There are people who are in jail RIGHT NOW serving longer sentences for having weed. For shoplifting. For stealing a car. And yet this woman, this WHITE woman slaughters a man and will be done with her sentence in time for Christmas next year. There aren’t enough words of profanity to describe what I am feeling right now. What we all should be feeling right now.

In what world is this justice?

The judge, Regina Chu, who presided over the case even had the GALL to ask that people empathize with the KILLER! She choked up while speaking about the defendant. You cannot make this shit up.

I honestly don’t have much more to say. I am shocked. I am embarrassed. I am outraged. The life of a young Black man ended up being worth $1,000 and less than two years in jail. Incredible.

If the protests get out of hand or if there is more violence from this, just know that it is deserved. Whatever business burns, know that you have Regina Chu and our corrupt supremacist judicial system to blame. You have killer cops and the liars who support them to blame. If the people in charge will not change then the people will change who is in charge.

This is sickening. I am so sorry.
